Tangley Parish Hall
The village hall is an attractive venue for social gatherings, weddings and parties. It is particularly good for children’s parties as there is easy access to the playing field which is equipped with a new playground. The hall and playing field are situated within a designated “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” in the picturesque village of Wildhern. The village hall had a new kitchen fitted in early 2014 which is ideal for catering. In February 2007 the car park was enlarged allowing more cars to park safely and to give manoeuvring room and in 2008 additional hard standing was laid at the front of the hall.

For weddings and parties a deposit is required at the time of booking. This includes use of hall, meeting room, kitchen and equipment, including some crockery and cutlery.
If the hall is required for part of the prior day for setting up, an additional charge may be incurred. Hire rates include lighting and heating.
Hirers are requested to leave the hall clean & tidy for the next hirer and return of their deposit. All rubbish generated by the hirer must be put in the wheelie bin and a new bin liner inserted in the kitchen waste bin (liners in cupboard under sink in kitchen).
These facilities are also available for hire to Caravan Clubs and organisations for £5.00 per night per caravan/tent. Use of the hall will be at the same rates as non-residents (see below).
During caravan rallies, please note that we cannot prevent access of the general public to the field and play area during periods when the field is being hired. We therefore ask hirers and the general public to co-operate and respect each other’s use and enjoyment of the facilities. The income from hiring our facilities helps to fund the upkeep of the hall and the Management Committee would appreciate parishioners support in this matter.
