Welcome to the Tangley Parish Website
Tangley is a charming rural parish in North Hampshire covering an area of 4,017 acres and has just over 600 residents in its three villages of Tangley, Wildhern and Hatherden and the hamlets of Charlton Down and Little Hatherden. It lies in the north-west corner of Hampshire and most of it is an officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Within our parish we have a thriving village school, four pubs and two churches. The village hall has a wide range of both social and recreational activities for inhabitants of all ages and the playing field has a childrens play area and a large grass field with goal posts. A new tennis court and additional sports facilities are planned for 2012. In addition, we have many lovely walks and a footpath map is included in the ‘About’ section. Our annual summer fete is held in late May and is always well attended and well worth a visit. Full details of all events in the parish are listed on our ‘Events’ or ‘News’ pages.
